Organization of Trust

The DII Silica Trust was founded in 2005 as a result of the bankruptcies of Dresser Industries and its subsidiaries, which manufactured silica products.

The Trust is organized to process, liquidate, and pay all valid silica personal injury claims in accordance with the Trust Distribution Procedures (TDP) approved by the bankruptcy court.  These procedures provide the methods for filing a claim.

The goal of the Trust is to process and pay silica claims as promptly and efficiently as possible.
